Bethany’s dream of becoming an author came alive through a crowdfunding campaign (Kickstarter), and in March 2022, her debut title, Lulu the Beaver, was placed into kids’ hands across the United States, Canada, England, Italy, and Australia. Additionally, Lulu had recognition on Kickstarter and is starting to pop up in Elementary Schools. The title is now available in hardcover this December, ready for trade. About Bethany
For over two decades, Bethany Gano has worked in the commercial arts. From production, to package design, to crafting brands, to illustration, and now, creating a children's book through her self-named studio. Bethany loves storytelling through art and design, and is extra fond of picture books — a place where art and words can't survive without each other. She holds two BAs (Art and Spanish) from the Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University. Bethany lives in Central Florida with her husband, three kids and a bunch of furry and scaly friends.
